Not only do the songs get you excited and energetic, but they also have a deep meaning. All of his songs are reflective on his childhood. His songs have a mix of how his childhood was going well, but also how he was made fun of. You can tell he still remembers some of the words and sayings kids would say to him and uses them into his songs.
He also talks about how people don’t look at him as a true rapper because he grew up in a normal family and wasn’t considered “ghetto.”
The song “Outside” Explains how he was a young innocent boy and people would make fun of him because he didn’t understand what certain words meant.
In the song L.E.S, he talks about how his friends would make bad choices but he wouldn’t want to grow up like them and make stupid mistakes and also talked about a girl he liked.
The song “That Power” is about how he’s coming back to show everybody where he is now and how he has overcome adversity and was able to keep battling.
This album shows how he feels about himself, how other people view him, and how he has to keep battling to be the person he wants to be today.
