Dexter dominating at the SECs meet

The Dexter Men’s Swim and Dive team took part in the SEC swim meet this past weekend and blew every team out of the water, which is fitting because they’re the Dreadnaughts.
It was an extremely successful weekend, with swimmers like Luke Sayler, Michael Baumann, and Sam Krahn making state cuts in their events.
This brings up the total members of the state team to 10, helping add depth to the team for the state meet. The Dreads are focused and determined on creating a dynasty and winning the state meet for three years in a row.
“SECs was a lot of fun,” said freshman Clayton Kinnard said, who is a state swimmer competing in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke. “I expected one or two more people to get state cuts, but overall I’m proud of our guys.”
