Last weekend the Dexter women’s water polo team competed in the District 4 Seeding Tournament at Saline High School. Their first game was on Friday the 27th and they played against Walled Lake. The Dreads won this game with a score of 17-3. The next day the Dreads played Ann Arbor Huron and lost with a score of 5-11. Later in the day, Dexter competed against the Skyline eagles and suffered a tough loss of 2-12. This brought their record to 8 wins and 10 losses. “We put up a tough fight, but we just weren’t really on our game Saturday,” said junior Allison Wyka, one of the team’s main scorers. Dexter will next face Ann Arbor Pioneer tonight at home for another seeding game.
