Vivian Kinnard is on the women’s swim and dive team. She’s been diving since 2014 and really only started because her brother was in dive; she’s been doing it ever since. Kinnard, a senior, used to swim and compete in gymnastics as well.

As a diver, athletes need a variety of things with them. Kinnard provided The Squall a look inside her swim and dive backpack. The picture above, going clockwise from top left, shows you what is commonly used by one of Dexter’s best divers, Vivian Kinnard.

INSIDE THE BAG (ABOVE)

1: T-shirt and shorts

2: Hydro Flask

3: Speedo swim bag

4: Massage gun. “It’s helpful after platform dives, which is really hard on your back and shoulders.”

5: Tech swimsuit

6: Shampoo and conditioner

7: Sports tape. “This is needed after a day with repetitive bouncing, which is hard on your knees, as well as the platform, which is hard on your wrists.”

8: Shammy. “It’s a smaller towel which is made out of very absorbent material and is meant to dry your arms and legs so you don’t slip out of bigger dives.”

9: KIND granola bar

10: Towel
