In the beginning of the week, the Dexter women’s soccer team played Lincoln. They won the first half by a mercy by scoring 8 goals – the other team scored zero. It was clear who was the better team, considering they only played one half. The girls stayed on their level and didn’t drop to the level of the other team.
On Wednesday, the Dreads played Chelsea, Dexter’s biggest rival. Dexter scored early in the game, which made they energetic — their morale was high. Through great teamwork, the girls beat Chelsea 6-0. Senior Sammy Corcoran had a hat trick, scoring half of the goals.
Next Up: Dexter (2-0) hosts Tecumseh at noon on Saturday.
